Creo Trendsetter CTP vs DS Screen 8600 CTP, Scitex Lotem

We have a modified creo, basically a lotum, that works very well. We're now considering a ds 8600. Cost seems to be the issue, but I'm concerned about quality, consistency, control. Our system is relatively simplistic (one paper stock, one press, one plate curve). We produce about 120 plates daily on bakeless Sword plates. We're currently holding a very tight tolerance (3 to 4%) between chemistry cycles when measuring the plates (in the 50% range) and have found no one as picky as us with which we can compare notes. I want to make sure that ds can reproduce similar results.
Does ds or any others compare? I'm not ready to fix something that ain't broken, so I'm a little apprehensive about a change.
