PDF-Robot, with Scitex FAF or Adobe IRT (in rip trapping)??

Yes, PDF-X-Robot will work great for both of these rip systems. Creo Scitex Brisque 5 and Full Auto Frames trapping is great for PDF-Robot workflow. Agfa Apogee with Adobe IRT (in rip trapping) is also fine to rip your files produced from PDF-Robot workflow. By Default, PDF-Robot delivers a single page, composite PDF/X or PDF with no overprints. You can modify the PDF settings to do different flavors of color management and PDF formatting, but at default there are no overprints in the pdf files to support a true WYSIWYG proof.

This file is not yet trapped. Most robot users think the trapping should be done at the rip by the printer for their press and process. This is normally referred to as (In RIP) trapping. Most of the current Robot users are sending to good publication printers who can trap this page at their RIP. Forget the trapping... Leave it to the printer's responsibility for registration. Many others though are now using PDF-X-Robot to produce digital on-demand print jobs or POD and need no trapping in those files. The following rips are a few of the known trapping rips that are currently producing good output from PDF-X-Robot files.
