Adobe Acrobat 8 Tutorial, Acrobat Distiller Options?

The reason there's relatively no info on this site about setting up adobe Acrobat Distiller options is that PDF-X-Robot requires no set-up at all for Adobe Acrobat Distiller. The workflow comes plug & play ready to roll with no setup at all for Adobe Acrobat Distiller. That's the beauty of it, you don't need to know shit about that, PPD's, postscript settings, setting up printers, nothing. Every single setting is either hard coded into the software, or pre-configured for the user. You can change some settings if you want, but from the moment you install, you can start making plate ready PDF.

But, I take it you don't have PDF-X-Robot yet. So, here's some details about the job options in Adobe Acrobat Distiller. Hopefully this will help until you get a copy of PDF-Robot. Adobe Acrobat Distiller has a few tabs at top of the settings dialog box. Here's a breakdown of important stuff in each tab that you should know. . . .

Hi there...
I have designed a large map for print(1.5m x 1m)which is covered with lines, symbols & text over a jpeg. I am trying to output this at A3 to show the client insted of sending the full version (which is 50Mb).
Step by step how does one do this?
Thanking you in advance
