Okay, so it would seem that there is a major disconnect there. If a printer - lets define him here as a press owner that can take a 1 bit file and somehow image it onto some plate - well, if that printer asks for 'someone" to send then 1 bit tiffs (pre screened or not) - this is a perfectly reliable thing ! I never said that it would be ideal, nor suggested that this is what should be done - but if i request that you deliver a set of digital film, and i give you the specs, then if you want to do buiness with me, then you need to give me digital... - Read More at This Link..
