Students can buy the adobe suite at a special price, which is heaps and heaps cheaper. I think somewhere about 1400 dollar for the special edition. At least here. And macs are a lot cheaper these days. But it is not only the price. I know a lot of people working with PC's and they cannot go 'into the system", tweak, change, install on the root-level. When there is a PC problem they have to go to a professional. But I can do most of the 'system-healing' myself. And printing with a mac is just easier with its panels.
