Hi Tee, Yes, of course, Page-Bot™ is as hardcore a variable app as they come. However, it is a very customized application. Current version builds are using completely hardcoded designs with PageBot actually creating the documents from scratch. As the documents are being built, the variable data and design is laid into them from the database files and decisions based on the database files. Customized data parsers are built into PageBot.
Page-Bot™ is custom built through collaboration with a publisher and software-robotics.com. We take a design template or layout sample in QuarkXPress or Acrobat PDF and automate it's construction. Then, we take a sample database and the variable elements, text, logo, colors, etc and build the automation around the customer's . . . .
